Mission
It
is the mission of All Saints' Episcopal Day School, in keeping
with the Judeo-Christian tradition of love of God, neighbor, and
self, to provide each child the opportunity to develop his or
her highest potential to learn, in a nurturing environment of
spiritual growth and service to others.
It shall be the purpose of All Saints' Episcopal Day School to
provide and protect a sound co-educational independent parish
day school environment, serving children from pre-kindergarten
through eighth grade. The school will be accessible to age and
ability eligible boys and girls of all ethnic, racial, and religious
affiliations. All Saints' Episcopal Day School values:
- A child-centered focus and purpose;
- A religious program that is directed by a full-time chaplain, which includes daily worship, religious education, and spiritual nurturing;
- Opportunities for students to learn and develop a sense of service to community and others;
- Nurturing a family environment, which works in partnership with parents to enhance strong family values, and benefits from active family involvement and support;
- Economic diversity within the student body by supporting and providing for a strong program of financial aid;
- Retaining small class sizes and academic sectioning in support of individualized instructional opportunity;
- Opportunities which enable each child to develop his or her potential and an appreciation of other cultures;
- A faculty and administration of the highest personal caliber, who are encouraged to develop and enhance their professional competencies;
- An excellent well-rounded academic program, based upon a traditional and classical model that encourages and supports faculty innovation and creativity within the parameters of the approved curriculum;
- Administrative leadership which provides for sound operational management and evaluation of the daily activities of the school;
- Appropriate, equitable, and effective input from and communication among all members of the school community;
- A safe and well-tended campus;
- A working partnership with All Saints' Parish which strengthens both institutions in worship and ministry to the community and utilizes mutual resources in religious education.
