Middle School

Sixth Grade

During their first year in middle school, sixth grade students study core subjects and are introduced to art history. They also enjoy electives such as watercolor painting, classic board games, tech classes, meditation classes, and time to explore our Organic Garden. Our advisory program is also held during the middle school block.

As newly minted upper graders, students also now have the opportunity to be involved in Student Council, after-school sports, as well as in our annual Shakespeare production.

Our 6th graders also enjoy a 3 day & 2 night science trip to Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, as well as trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, tide pooling at Carmel Beach, and outreach events to help with I-Help dinners and Meals on Wheels.
